This Week’s Featured Startups: Finalists from our NYC Pitch Competition

Winner: Mentium

Mentium is an AI powered end-to-end revenue management platform.
 

Easily manage accounts payable and receivable, automate invoicing, implement usage-based billing, and navigate approval workflows. AI-powered financial auditor that checks invoices against contractual pricing to ensure you are not being overcharged.

Mentium took home a $50K check at our pitch competition last week, and they’ve met 10 investors through ORCA.

Winner: Riple

Riple’s AI-powered news platform delivers 100-word summaries of global news, tailored to users in a hyper-personalised feed, allowing them to engage and share opinions.

User generated content will be moderated by AI fact-checkers and user moderators, a model similar to wikipedia, to control misinformation. With a premium tier ‘Riple+’, users will get access to behind paywall content from sources such as Wall Street Journal, Financial Times and The Economist.

Riple won $50K last week and is still getting connected to investors through ORCA.

Finalist: Savy

Savy is an AI sales copilot for financial institutions that originates deals, generates tailored product suggestions and personalized messages, using ML and Gen AI.

Savy is the only solution that understands to craft a personalized sales message, you need to go beyond banking data.

Savy was selected as 1 of 5 finalists from 151 applicants to the NYC Pitch Competition. They’ve met 4 investors through ORCA.

Finalist: SneakPeek

SneakPeek is an AI sneaker authentication platform that provides instantaneous results to identify counterfeits, track authenticity, and pair physical assets to digital spaces.

SneakPeek was selected as 1 of 5 finalists from 151 applicants to the NYC Pitch Competition.

Finalist: Common Tide

Common Tide is a private fund that allows startup founders whose startups have recently raised their first $1m+ VC-led round to invest 1% - 5% of their company’s equity into the fund, thereby becoming Limited Partners in the fund, gaining exposure to other fund assets besides their own equity and diversifying their financial risk. Further, Common Tide facilitates community and founder-to-founder relationships among their network of LPs, so that founders can access mentorship and peer advice to support their personal and professional journeys.

Common Tide was selected as 1 of 5 finalists from 151 applicants to the NYC Pitch Competition.
